Bridget Jones, a/k/a SouthernGal in Portugal, is a personal chef who offers take-away meals, caters private events, and has popups at various venues around Porto. She also offers an amazing American-style Thanksgiving dinner in late November (in São Bento train station in 2023). You can just taste the love and care in every dish she makes. Some of the dishes of hers I have enjoyed include fried chicken, green beans, sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese, biscuits, peach cobbler, and ready-to-cook homemade breakfast sausage. Each one was like the best version you’ve ever had. She is currently competing for the title of Favorite Chef through the James Beard Foundation and if successful, will win a food truck. SouthernGal is on social media; her FB page is https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100095021290450&mibextid=LQQJ4d

Yum! Southern Gal’s chicken salad will ruin you for any other version…well except for my late grandmother’s. 🙂
Try her Maple Pecan Granola, too. I don’t really do granola, but this one had me happily scarfing down a tasty, healthy breakfast.
